From September 13th to 16th, MarShon Brooks will be in Mikhail Prokhorov’s homeland, Russia. It will be his second international journey – his first being a trip to the Bahamas. As always, Brooks had a good quote:
I’m excited about [the trip]. It’s Russia … it’s going to the other side of the world…It was something I couldn’t turn down.”
Update (11:21 AM): Prokhorov will give Brooks a tour of Moscow and Brooks will attend a formal dinner at the U.S. embassy in Moscow. Quite a trip!
Brooks has been extremely active this offseason, participating in numerous summer basketball leagues, being a judge for Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island, and now traveling to Russia. Brooks is probably in very good shape and well prepared for his second NBA season.
