Brooklyn Nets to be Featured on ESPN Tuesday

According to NetsDaily, there will be a feature on the Brooklyn Nets starting at 9 AM and running throughout the day on ESPN’s signature show “Sports Center” on Tuesday. The piece will show interviews with head coach Avery Johnson as well as a few players taped from Nets media last Monday.

The Nets have not been featured on the popular sports show since the 2009-10 season when they lost their first 18 games of the season and only ended up winning 12 games total. Tomorrow’s feature will definitely have a more positive outlook.

This show is yet another big spot the Nets will be shown in over the next few weeks. The YES Network, which carries most Nets games, will have a show titled “Nets 2012: Hello Brooklyn” before the Nets preseason home opener next Monday. The Nets will also be featured on “The Association”, which premieres on October 16th. Additionally, Jay-Z will have a Nets special on his youtube channel in the next few weeks.
