Gerald Wallace to Miss Third Straight Game

Gerald Wallace

Brooklyn Nets small forward Gerald Wallace will again miss tomorrow night’s game against the Orlando Magic on the road. Wallace first suffered his ankle injury in the first regular season game against Toronto when he rolled the ankle in the final minute.

In the Nets’ 2 games since the injury, their defense has been awful, and their offense has struggled too. Wallace is a vital piece to this team and they need him because of his defense and scrappiness.

The good news is that Wallace is out of his walking boot and is close to coming back. However, the Nets do not expect him to play either game this weekend when the Nets have a home-and-home with Orlando. We might see him back next Tuesday when the Nets host the Cleveland Cavaliers.
