Brook Lopez

In a move that should surprise nobody, David Stern announced Wednesday afternoon that Brook Lopez will be replacing the injured Rajon Rondo on the eastern conference all-star squad. He will be the first Brooklyn Net ever selected to the team and should still be honored to go even though the coaches passed on sending him to the game.

Reggie Evans was happy with the decision. In a very immature and selfish tweet, JR Smith was not. Although Brook is happy to be heading to Houston, don’t expect any extravagant comments from him before tonight’s game vs. the Miami Heat because that’s not the kind of guy he is.

It’s an exhibition game. The NBA should open up the All Star rosters to let more guys play.

I agree all star teams should have 15 man rosters and everyone suits up.
