Dwight Howard and Metta World Peace Both Out vs. Brooklyn Nets

Both Dwight Howard and Metta World Peace (Ron Artest) will not play in tonight’s game vs. the Brooklyn Nets. Howard will miss the game with a shoulder injury he re-injured in Phoenix last week. World Peace will be suspended for the game after he punched Brandon Knight in the jaw on Sunday.

The Nets also have their share of injuries that have popped up this morning. Marshon Brooks probably will not play with an ankle injury. C.J. Watson probably will play with an ankle injury. Jerry Stackhouse is still a game-time decision and Andray Blatche may not play because he was not feeling well this morning. Toko Shengelia is still out with a concussion.

Even though the Nets all of a sudden do have their share of injuries, all their starters are healthy and have not played since Friday so they will be well-rested. The Lakers, meanwhile, are missing two starters and are in the middle of a long road trip. This is a game the Nets should win.
