Reminder: Brooklyn Nets Press Conference At Barclays Tomorrow

Jason Terry

We’ve known about it for about 3 weeks now, but tomorrow it will finally be official. The Brooklyn Nets are holding a press conference Thursday afternoon at 12 pm to officially welcome Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Jason Terry, and Andrei Kirilenko to Brooklyn.

The conference will be shown live on both YES and ESPN as well as streamed live from brooklynnets.com if you are at work and can’t access a TV. Additionally, if you are in Brooklyn or just want to take a day off, the Nets are telling fans to come to Barclays and watch the press conference on the Oculus screen outside the building. However if you do that, I hope you know that it will be over 90 degrees again tomorrow. Still, it would be nice to listen to the players talk with fellow fans.

The Nets anticipate the press conference lasting over an hour and this will give us our first chance to hear the four players talk about coming to Brooklyn. Also, expect to hear Jason Kidd and Billy King talk. It is not known if Mikhail Prokhorov will make the trip over from Russia for this.

Nets fans have been waiting a long time for this moment and now it is finally here.
