Brooklyn Nets Release Preseason Schedule

Lebron James and Dwyane Wade

The regular season schedule may not be out quite yet, but fans will take what they can get. Today, the Brooklyn Nets released their preseason schedule, which includes one game vs. Washington, Detroit, and Philadelphia, and two games against both Boston and Miami. The full schedule is below:

10/8 at Washington
10/12 vs. Detroit
10/14 at Philadelphia
10/15 vs. Boston
10/17 vs. Miami
10/23 at Boston
10/25 at Miami

All of these games will be at actual NBA arenas; last season, the Nets played a game in Atlantic City against the Sixers and a game in Long Island against the Knicks.

Speaking of Manhattan, the Knicks are not on the preseason schedule this season for the first time in a long time. The Nets are saying that it is because Madison Square Garden is being renovated and it would not be possible to have a home-and-home series with them this season.

Also of note is the game in Boston on October 23rd. Even though it is only the preseason, this will be the first time Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce return to Boston. The teams also play in Brooklyn a week earlier.

The Nets also play the defending NBA champion Miami Heat twice in a possible eastern conference final preview.

Expect the regular season NBA schedule to come out some time next week.
